I would like to introduce myself to you as your new permanent GP. I started in September last year, after Els Stokkers left the practice. I have since found my place in the team and have had the pleasure of meeting many of you.

Before coming to Uithoorn, I worked as a regular GP in the Rivierenbuurt district in Amsterdam. I live with my family in Amstelveen Noord and enjoy cycling to work.

Prior to GP training, I enjoyed working as a tropical doctor in Africa for several years. As a result, I gained extensive experience in gynaecology and surgery - fields I still practise with great enthusiasm as a GP.

I enjoy working with my patients on positive health, which means paying attention to what a person can do and finds important in life

I look forward to further introductions and hope to be a pleasant GP for you.

From Monday 30 June 2025, we will be working with a new software system. To make the transition as smooth as possible, we will be closed from 12 noon on Friday 27 June. In the afternoon, we can only be reached for emergencies.

In addition, we would like to draw your attention to the following:

• From Thursday 26 June to Monday 30 June, it is not possible to request repeat prescriptions. We kindly ask you to request them on time.
• The portal Your Care Online will not be available from 27 June to 4 July due to the transition to the new system.

In the weeks after 30 June, waiting times on the phone and in the waiting room may be longer than you are used to from us. Our staff are doing their best, but still need to get used to the new system. We ask for your understanding for this temporary situation and thank you for your cooperation.
