For urgent matters that cannot wait until the next working day, the other GPs at De Amstel will deputise.

The classification is according to the first letter of your surname:

• A-K GPs Apeldoorn and Baart, tel 0297 - 527500
• L-Z GPs Antheunis and Hijzen, tel 0297 – 561453

Appointments with the POH and/or the assistant continue as usual.

On 7 and 14 August 2026, the practice will not be available by telephone as the assistant will be absent.

Do you have a an urgent matter that cannot wait until the next working day? If so, please contact one of the other De Amstel practices. Which practice you should call depends on the first letter of your surname:

• L–Z: GPs Antheunis and Hijzen – 0297 561 453

The GP will be available on both days. Do you have an appointment with the GP or the practice nurse (POH)? If so, it will go ahead as planned.

You can request repeat prescriptions via the prescription helpline, just as you usually do.

Do you have a question or request a repeat prescription? Requests received before 12 noon will be processed the same day. Requests after 12 noon will be dealt with on the next working day. E-mails and e-consultations are responded to within 5 working days. Do you have an urgent question? Please contact us by telephone. Do not use e-mail or e-consult for emergencies.
