Practice

The practice is open from 8am to 5pm on weekdays. On Tuesday afternoons, the practice is closed. For emergencies, Dr Nap's practice takes over until 5pm, tel 0297 – 56 93 02.

Please use our regular call times:

  • 08:00 - 11:00: for making appointments (both in the surgery and by phone), advice, results or questions to the assistant
  • 08:00 - 10:30: requesting visits
  • 13:30 - 14:00: telephone consultation hours

Our practice assistants are trained in 'triage'. They can make a good assessment of your symptoms with specific questions. They can also answer many questions independently, or give advice over the phone. All advice is also consulted with the GP. It is best if the patient calls themselves, so that specific questions can be asked about how the patient is feeling. If you wish, or if they think an appointment at the GP's surgery is needed, they can assess with you the time frame in which this is needed. She has a duty of confidentiality.

Please call the assistant in good time if a previously booked appointment cannot take place. If you do not cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance, you will be charged for the planned treatment time.

Temporarily no access to patient portals at De Amstel GP practices

Since Monday 30 June 2025, we have been working with a new software system. As a result, the patient portals of GP practice De Amstel are unfortunately unavailable at the moment.

On the portal website, you may get the message that your GP needs to activate your account. This notification is not correct at the moment: the link to our new system is not yet active and we cannot solve this for you manually for the time being.

As soon as the portals are available again, we will let you know immediately via this website. We kindly ask you not to contact us about this. Thank you for your understanding.

Repeat prescriptions
Requesting repeat prescriptions is currently not possible via the patient portal. You can arrange this by phone via the prescription line.
