As you may have noticed, our practice has had a new name for some time now. With the departure of GP Els Stokkers and the arrival of Mariët Groenemeyer, we thought it was a fitting time to choose a future-proof name. Located between Legmeer and Zijdelmeer, the practice bears the name from now on: GP practice Tussen Meren.

We are also proud to announce that Mariët Groenemeyer will join me, Miguel Konijnendijk, in taking over the practice from 1 January 2026. Below, Mariët is happy to introduce herself to you.

I would like to introduce myself to you as your new permanent GP. I started in September last year, after Els Stokkers left the practice. I have since found my place in the team and have had the pleasure of meeting many of you.

Before coming to Uithoorn, I worked as a regular GP in the Rivierenbuurt district in Amsterdam. I live with my family in Amstelveen Noord and enjoy cycling to work.

Prior to GP training, I enjoyed working as a tropical doctor in Africa for several years. As a result, I gained extensive experience in gynaecology and surgery - fields I still practise with great enthusiasm as a GP.

I enjoy working with my patients on positive health, which means paying attention to what a person can do and finds important in life

I look forward to further introductions and hope to be a pleasant GP for you.
